Registration

• The minimum age to play for open tournaments is 18 years old.
• Teams need to pay the full registration by the week of the first game of the tournament.
• Every player needs to fill up our waiver and release from liability form. Excluding responsibility to the Futbol Club for all injuries that occur in our facility.
• If a team must withdraw from the league for their own reasons or if they are suspended for violating The Futbol Club rules and regulations, the tournament fee will not be refunded.
• Once the schedules have been posted teams will no longer be allowed to withdraw from the league without being held responsible for the full payment amount.
• Each player must present a valid ID to register. Players caught trying to play without a valid ID may be suspended from further participation at The Futbol Club
• A player that is register with one team can not play with any other team of the tournament. If that’s the case the team will be disqualified from the tournament.
• Teams can not register more players after the 3rd week of competition.(NO EXCEPTIONS)
• Team selection will be addressed on a first come first served basis.

Rules & Regulations:

• The games are played with 4 field players plus the keeper.
• Teams must have at least 4 players at game time to be able to play. Otherwise the game will forfeit in favor of the other team with a score of 3‐0.
• Players have 5‐seconds to put the ball in play; infringement results in turnover of possession.
• When a free kick is being taken, the defending team must be a minimum of 4 feet away from the ball.
• No offside rule.
• Shin guards are mandatory for all players at all times and must be completely covered with socks ‐ NO Exceptions!!
• All players must wear indoor soccer shoes (flats), turfs or sneakers ‐ No molded cleats allowed at any time.
• Player must be off the field before substitute can enter. Infringement results in 2‐minute penalty.
• Each player must present a valid ID to the referee prior to the start of each game. Referees will collect player cards from each individual player only. Players caught trying to play without a valid ID may be suspended from further participation at The Futbol Club.
• Game clock will start at scheduled time ‐ No Exceptions!! Games are on a running clock with no stoppage of time!!
• A 5 minute half time is given
• Slide tackling is strictly prohibited. Infringement will result in a 2‐minute penalty or a yellow card.
  
• The goalkeeper may retain possession of the ball with his/her hands for a maximum period of 5‐seconds.
  
• All fouls awarded inside the penalty area will be considered a penalty kick.
  
• Only team players and one coach are allowed in the team bench area. Youth teams are required to have at least one adult (25 years or older) in the team bench area at all times. Cameras and all other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the team bench area or field.
  
• Protests are not allowed!! Referee decisions are final.
  
• Penalties:
  • Players receiving a yellow card will serve a 2‐minute penalty.
    
  • Players receiving a red card must leave the field and will sit out a minimum of 1 game. Furthermore, their team will play the rest of the game with 5 players.
    
• Each team is required to bring alternate jerseys.
  
• All games will be 2 x 25 minute half.
  
• The tournament is played with a number 3 ball for indoor soccer.
  
• If a game is suspended because of a fight, invasion of the field or any alternate violence, the game is not rescheduled. The decision of the outcome until then be taken based on the report of the referee and the decision shall be final.
  
• If the goalkeeper receives the ball from a teammate he can not play it with his hands, if doing so will be punished with an indirect free kick.
  
• Free throws have to be taken with your feet. The ball must be totally stopped in order to bring into play.
  
• Any player who assaults verbally or physically at an opponent or any person (referee) shall be expelled from the tournament.
  
• If a player insults an opponent, the public, referee or any other person present at the facility shall be punished with a red card and management will determine the punishment.
